First time visiting this restaurant and from stepping inside we felt welcomed and appreciated. The table was ready and waiting us and the restaurant staff all very polite, friendly, high customer focus. We were seated and the restaurant staff knew the dishes and menu and more than able to guild us around what was on the menu. We ordered WOW the high standard and presentation and so so tasty food that came amazing job chef - the pictures don’t lie We can’t fault this restaurant and will B going back

We had the most fabulous meal here 5* is just not enough! We are all huge fish fans and the food did not disappoint. It was also a very friendly and relaxed experience and the service was top notch. We will be back

Came here in 2019 and just getting round to doing a review. Me and my partner were just exploring hull on a rainy day and basically came into this place by accident at lunch time. It had just opened so we were the only people in the restaurant. The staff were really friendly and gave us a nice private table and let us look at the menu, they gave us plenty of space but were still attentive and kind. I got the lobster whilst my partner got the scallops, both of which were perfectly cooked and delicious, some of the best we've had in the UK. Overall just had such a nice atmosphere about it and as stated since it was such a memorable experience for us I thought I'd finally do a review.

My partner treated me to lunch, we’ve been meaning to pop here for a while as we both love seafood. Service was good, the restaurant was busy so we did have to wait a while to get more drinks and the bill at the end as the two ladies where busy either on the phone taking bookings ( I think ) or serving customers. Food was quite good. Will try again and pick alternative things to what we picked this time. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and I love the decor, fun but not tacky. Great location too

Really great friendly service, perfect timing between ordering and serving courses. Food absolutely outstanding. Son’s steak cooked to perfection. Amazing seafood dishes, generous portions. Left absolutely stuffed Only downside I could’ve picked literally anything off the menu, all sounded delicious so difficult to choose! Will be back

I met my Daughter for lunch, and was a little apprehensive after a poor lunch experience in Hull some months ago. My Daughter is a cook and provides private dining for a large Airbnb in Cambridge. So she's quite particular. She had the prawn cocktail and moules, and I had crispy squid and battered monkfish with sriracha mayo. It was all extremely good. Well cooked and presented; the monkfish was especially tender and moist, and good sized portions. The service was good but could have been a little quicker. But I guess it takes time to prepare good food, and it was good. I will visit again. It's worth knowing there is a small carpark opposite. It was full when we went, but we managed to nab one of the few free parking spots next to it (up to 3 hours... we'll done, Hull).

Good value two course lunch menu for 23. Excellent quality dishes overall and delicious fresh fish and chips! Very attentive, friendly service. Remember to book in advance as the restaurant is popular!

Very pleasant experience. Table booked only the day before, upon arrival we asked if we could swap to a table behind the fish tank and it caused no issue whatsoever (not a fan of being in the middle of an open space). All staff was extremely pleasant and professional, responsive even at a very busy Friday service. Food was fantastic, we didn’t have to wait long at all. And the rubber duckies are a phenomenal idea!
